We've all dealt with the fear factor. Awakened in the night fearful, a bad dream, or worried about something. Fearful about a relationship, health, money. You name it -- if the enemy can keep us fearful, faith won't rise to push that darkness over the cliff where it belongs.
God says about His own Word that it is "living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword". (Heb. 4:12) He says He will watch over it to perform it (Jer. 1:12), and He says it will accomplish the thing it was sent to do. (Is. 55:11)
Here are some tried and true promises from God's Word that will stop fear in its tracks. I have taken the medicine of God's Word many times for what ails me, and when I've found myself afraid, I have taken these scriptures by speaking them aloud several times, thinking about their meaning and the promise God is making to me through them, and then thanking God that He has delivered me from all fear. Fear has lifted, replaced by faith that God is for me, He is with me, and I have nothing to fear! (Heb. 13:5-6)
So if you find yourself afraid or worried, use the Anti-Fear Factor - God's Powerful Word. He honors and performs His Word in our lives when we activate it with our hearts and our mouths. (Prov. 18:21) God is SO GOOD!
